Chapter 10&11!

Chapter 10 and 11 discussed many activities that involve language learning such as storytelling, poetry, role play and drama. All of these activities benefit students' learning by providing meaningfulness and imaginations. I personally like poetry and drama. Poetry allows non-textbook-like learning and drama provides learning by acting out the human experience.

  1. I really liked using poetry in the classroom too it can help speed up the language acquisition process in a student.

  2. Creativity is a highlight in these few chapters. And it is useful in maintaining a child's attention. My nieces and nephews are only interested in the lessons I give them when it actually appears to be a game instead. I've recently started reading more child-friendly poetry to them at night (mostly to get them to sleep) and I like the result. Of course, the oldest is 6, so the writing part is a while away.
